The path beneath your feet can become the path back to yourself.
What is eco-therapy?
Healing doesn’t have to happen within four walls.
Eco-therapy (sometimes called nature-based therapy or walk-and-talk therapy) combines evidence-based psychotherapy with the restorative qualities of the natural world.
While sessions may include walking, they can also involve sitting & noticing the environment, or simply allowing nature to become part of the therapeutic process.
Rather than serving as just the backdrop, nature becomes a therapeutic partner. In a world that constantly asks us to speed up, nature invites us to slow down. The sights, sounds, and rhythms of the outdoors can help regulate the nervous system, foster a sense of safety, and create space for mindfulness, emotional processing, and healing.

What to Expect
Free Consultation
We'll begin with a complimentary 20-minute consultation to discuss your goals and answer any questions.
Building the Foundation
Your intake and first few sessions will take place in the office. During this time, we'll build our therapeutic relationship, develop an individualized treatment plan, and collaboratively explore your comfort level, preferences, and goals for incorporating nature into therapy.
Transitioning Outdoors
Once we've established a strong foundation, we'll begin meeting outdoors for eco-therapy sessions. Depending on your goals and preferences, sessions may take place while walking on paved sidewalks near the office or on local park trails. Eco-therapy sessions are held rain or shine whenever it is safe to do so, with flexibility to move indoors when weather or other circumstances make it appropriate.
Session Fee
Eco-therapy sessions are $150. This fee reflects the additional planning, flexibility, travel time, and logistics involved in providing therapy in outdoor settings. Sessions are approximately 50–60 minutes, allowing flexibility based on location and therapeutic needs.
