Nature-Based Therapy Coming Soon…

Nature-based therapy, or ecotherapy, integrates the healing power of the natural world into the therapeutic process. Sessions may include mindfulness in nature, grounding exercises, or reflective walks outdoors to invite connection, calm, and self-awareness. This approach supports trauma healing and emotional balance by helping you feel more grounded in your body and the world around you.

FAQs

  • Grounded & Blooming Therapy is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, we’re happy to provide a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA payment.

We’ve chosen not to contract with insurance companies in order to honor client autonomy & confidentiality, allowing us to focus on your individual needs rather than the limitations of insurance-driven care.

  • Yes. We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who qualify, as part of our commitment to making therapy accessible. Sliding scale rates are determined through a brief application process to ensure fairness while also allowing us to sustain business operations and provide quality care.

  • A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of effective therapy. You should feel comfortable, understood, and supported by your therapist. We encourage you to use the free consultation to get a sense of our approach and see if it feels like a good match. If it doesn’t, we’ll gladly provide referrals to help you find someone who best fits your needs.

  • The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some clients come to address a specific issue and may find short-term therapy helpful, while others choose to engage in longer-term work focused on personal growth and deeper healing. We’ll discuss your goals together and regularly check in to make sure therapy continues to meet your needs.

  • Session frequency depends on your goals, needs, and schedule. Many clients begin with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum in the therapeutic process. As progress is made, we may adjust to less frequent sessions. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels both supportive and sustainable for you.

  • We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, may be subject to the full session fee. The short-notice cancellation fee will be waived in the event of an emergency and everyone gets one “free pass”. This policy helps ensure availability for all clients.
